Peterson, better known as Tory Lanez, is serving 10 years in a California prison for shooting Megan the Stallion in Los Angeles back in 2020.. After conviction, Megan the Stallion has been moving on with her career, despite the allegations that she set up Tory Lanez. Megan the Stallion, also known as Megan Pete, decided to act, and sued Malagro Gramz in 2024, accusing Gramz of character assassination on-going for years since the 2020 incident with Tory Lanez.
So why has Megan's attorneys requested the judge to subpoena DJ Akademics on this Texas-based civil case? According to the rapper’s defamation suit on Malagro Cooper (Gramz), Gramz, an American blogger based in Texas, has been graciously compensated to discredit rapper Megan the Stallion on behalf of rapper Daystar Peterson. DJ Akademics has expressed his doubts on the whole 2020 incident and Lanez’ involvement on a podcast in 2022-where he shared unauthorized legal documentation of DNA evidence found on the weapon used in the incident.
DJ Akademics, whose real name is Livingston Allen, spoke with Plaintiff's lawyers refusing to give up his source on how he obtained such documents. As he sat down with them, he only gave them rote answer and cited shield laws that typically protect journalists. He gave the impression that the only way he could reveal is to be summoned by a judge. Megan the Stallions attorneys did just that.
If you are looking for a stimulus, you may as well look to your state. Some states are actually sending rebate checks but not the federal government, and certainly not the President.
With the rise in about every necessity needed, consumers could sure use a stimulus. The economic strain is further compounded by families affected by ongoing ICE raids. Recent policy changes have led to a surge in enforcement actions, including in sensitive locations such as schools and hospitals. Families impacted by these raids experience an average loss of 70% of their income within six months of a parent’s detention or deportation, often resulting in chronic poverty, educational setbacks for children, and long-term health decline.
From the latest natural disasters, the United States have endured over the past years, a financial bump could help tremendously. To the unknown happening underway, a preparatory step to set aside something has become a dream.
While some states have taken the initiative to provide rebate checks or targeted relief, there is currently no official federal stimulus program. Several states—including New York, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Colorado, and New Jersey—have issued one-time inflation relief payments or property tax rebates to eligible residents. For example, New York’s STAR program is providing up to $1,500 in credits to qualifying homeowners, and Georgia is issuing tax refunds of up to $500 for married couples filing jointly. However, rumors of new federal stimulus checks remain unsubstantiated, and no such program has been confirmed by Congress or the IRS. Any official updates would be posted on the IRS website.
